Trouble with popups?

Since scammers and spammers invaded the web, browsers are coming equipped with pop-up blockers. Browsers like Firefox have popup blockers but allow you to turn these off so you can enjoy legitimate popups. Windows Internet Explorer 7.00 has its popup blocker on by default when it is installed. Here is Microsoft's instructions on how to turn the pop-up hlocker off.  Best of luck.

Can't play the music?
If your computer does not play an mp3 file from a website, it is possible you have no player, download one (pick one) Windows media player, Quicktime,.
You may already have a player (likely) but the player may not have been told to play mp3 files straight off the web. To check,

Open My Computer

  1. Click the Tools menu
  2. Select Folder Options
  3. Find mp3 on the list
Hint: press m then p in quick succession on your keyboard to find it quickly
  4. When you find it , select it with the left mouse button
  5. Look down below to “Opens with:” if there is nothing after the colon then click Change. Now find the player you want to use, for instance Windows Media Player,  select it and click OK

Now try again. No luck? If you are using dialup (not broadband, like ADSL or cable) your connection may be too slow to “stream” music files.
You can just right click and select Save Target As (Windows Internet Explorer)
or Save Link As ( Mozilla Firefox), save the file to your drive and play it back from there.
