Andy Gray
Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Cittern, Mando-Cello, Whistle and Vocals.
Andy travelled overseas extensively in the early 70's with Guitar in hand, returning two years later with a better Guitar, Mandolin,
Flute and many hours of field recordings of festivals and music gatherings from North America, U.K, Europe and the Middle East.Settling in Sydney he joined Ralph Graham and other musicians to
form the Popular Band "RAINSHINE". Playing a mixture of American Styled Country Rock and English Electric Folk, Rainshine enabled Andy to pursue his multi-instrumentalist role as the
band continued to develop a unique sound. In the early eighties he switched to Electric 6 and 12 Stringed Guitars, playing with a New Wave and Ska influence. He developed as a songwriter
providing most of the material for TOXIC SHOCK and PLEASURE PULSE.

Bruce Reid
Acoustic and electric guitar, lap steel and vocals.
Bruce's creative beginnings were in his native Canada where he guitared for a string of bands including the Puritans.
An accomplished player of slide on guitar and lap steel Bruce's style is
both interesting and unusual and is well suited to Eureka! with it's musical slant. To: More on Bruce

Ralph Graham
Bass and Vocals.
Playing guitar in the early years Ralph later moved to bass for a succession of bands playing rock, country and a whole lot in between. Playing in
RAINSHINE with Andy Gray many moons back he came under the influence of the Celtic jigs and reels that were later to influence Eureka! When it was formed in 1987. Ralph is the only remaining
member of the original Eureka line up and his original songs and enthusiasm for the fusion of rock and folk has influenced the path of the band.

Pete Ciobo
Drums
Pete has had a varied work life touring
Australia and Europe with the likes of Jenny Morris, The Rockmelons, Denni Hines and others. Known for his drum programming as well as the real thing, Pete took some time off full time recording
and touringto manage a major building project in Queensland. He returned to Sydney to work for a record company,where he teamed up with Eureka!

Cye Wood
Violin.
The newest recruit, Cye (pronounced
"Kye") is violinist one minute and fiddler the next. Versed in many styles he lends colour to the songs and power to the tune sets. It is rumoured he also sings but just won't stand near a
microphone. Already veteran of many bands Cye's been involved in projects from Rock to mood music - he's just released an CD with friends entitled "Antistress."

Andy Gray (continued..)
EUREKA! formed in 1987. Andy joined in
1988. Back playing acoustic instruments, Andy says "joining EUREKA! really focused my interests in Australian Culture and History." He now contributes Traditional and Contemporary ideas to the band and
hopes Eureka!'s special mix of old and new will become more widely known and appreciated. Andy lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney with his wife, Son and Daughter. In his spare time, he researches
history, acts as a bit of a handyman, surfs and has developed a deep interest in Central Australian Aboriginal water colour paintings. His music tastes range from early Baroque through to Indian,
Middle-Eastern, African and Celtic, listening to modern and Pop music sparingly. If he can plan it, he hopes to visit as many remote parts of Australia as possible over the next few decades.

Ralph (continued..)
Touring with bands or as "side
man" for major artists has shown Ralph a bit of Australia and included South East Asia playing for the American troops in Vietnam. When the rest of the band returned to Australia, Ralph stayed on in
Thailand a country he now regards as something of a second home, to learn the language, eat the local fare and soak up the culture. A late starter with children, Ralph and his wife Karen and their twin
toddlers live in Northern Sydney where Ralph books some bands through his agency and builds Web sites on the Internet.
