Based in Sydney Australia, Eureka! borrows from many styles
to produce some great music that's become something of a style
of it's own.
Eureka!
performs an entertaining concert set at festivals and other
events. Playing Folk Rock, traditional, original and contemporary
music, the band;s instruments include mandolin,
cittern, acoustic and electric guitars, flageolet, lap steel,
fiddle, bass, drums, and lots of vocals. For Bush Dances,
Eureka! does a swag of lively traditional dances which are
expertly taught and called. First album, Red
Dust in the City, a collection of songs and tunes, original
and tradtional is joined by CD Jammin'
with Gypsy recorded with special guest fiddler
Dave Swarbrick.
